Social Group Finding – If you are a lover of tennis and want to find other people who love tennis, social networking sites are perfect for doing this. All of the big social networking sites allow you to list your social interests, which in turn allow other people with the same interests to find you. This is fantastic for finding people who share the same common ground and evening starting up local events in your area based on the interests you all share.

Whatever the reason people use social networking sites, it is clear to see they are a fun place to be and can be great for meeting new people. The dangerous are obvious, but most would say this is far outweighed by the ease and convenience of being able to meet someone you might never get the chance to, in “real” life.
